The War of the Roses – Movie

A movie starring Micheal Douglas, Danny De Vito and Kathleen Turner.  It is a movie about a married couple that are having a few problems.  The movie is rated 79/100 on imdb.com.

I found this movie to be a very good.  It was entertaining and funny in a witty way.  There are a few funny parts in there that will last in your memories.  You know when you are talking to someone and find yourself saying  ”I saw this movie once where the …” and referring to a memorable movie moment but you might not remember the whole movie?  That’s definately one of those movies.

Obviously you can’t go wrong with a cast like that.  Micheal Douglas is simply good in everything he does.  What an actor, one of my faves.  DeVito… enough said.  Any comments I would say about him can’t be good enough to describe this guy.  Phenominal.  Kathleen Turner, incase you dont know her, is fanstatic, she’s witty and funny.

Now, get ready for the good part.  If you love the chemistry and screenplay between these three actors then get ready to be happy…

There are 2 other movies that star all three of them, and the roles are similar, each with a different theme and quite good in their own right.  You may have heard of them.  Romancing the Stone and The Jewel of the Nile.

So if you are in the mood for a good one, grab your significant other and watch this film.  The only hope is that hopefully the other one doesn’t get any ideas on what to do to you.  Flowers, particularly roses every now and then will always help smooth things over.
